My body after triplets

Most wouldn’t share the true struggle of their body after giving birth. Because of social media most feel the need to get back like they never left not giving their body the proper time to heal.

This is no excuse to why I still have 15 more pounds to lose. I blame about 10 of that on eating Andys ice cream with Keith for about 2 weeks straight & the other 5 on all the cooked meals & snacks my sister made when she stayed in town 😂

But seriously, as a former athlete we are trained at an early age to care about our bodies.

As a mother of 4 it’s been hard to find the time to care for my body the way that I wish. But that’s no excuse!

Big ups to the mommas who snap back. Not just the ones who hit them angles but really Snap back!

It doesn’t happen to all of us. Especially to this mama of triplets. My body is no where where I want it to be & I def earned my tiger stripes this go round.

But when I look at my 4 babies I am amazed that my body is capable of such beautiful blessings!

My husband and I have had “the talk” and he appreciates my body image and what I’ve been through. He loves me even though I got “booty do” 😂 he also is my biggest motivator in getting to a place where I am truly happy.

It’s a process. & the nutrition part has been my biggest struggle.

Everyday is a chance to get better. But I’ll start tmrw, after movie night & dessert with the fam 😩

I’ll get there.
