My babies are home! Now the fun really begins. Getting the girls dressed and discharged took a little over 2 hours. That was just a taste of what it is going to be like when we try and leave the house to go anywhere! plus, adding a 2 year old in the mix – FUN! Once we got the girls all dressed with clean diapers, someone dropped a loud one! That was their way of saying welcome to the triplet world mommy & daddy!

The girls left the NICU with no concerns. We will be keeping their feeding schedule of every 3 hours and try our best to get into OUR family routine sooner rather than later.

I have to say, the most annoying question that you get asked the most is, How are you all going to do it, do you have lots of help?

I usually just brush the question off and say it’ll get done. But its seriously something you don’t even think about. You may not know how it is going to get done, you just know it’s going to get done. Simple as that. I don’t have all the answers but i’ll figure it out. That’s been my mindset this whole time. I’m going to enjoy this, embrace it. I’m not the first mama to do it and I’m sure I won’t be the last.

Since we’ve been home we have started to think of ways to stay ahead. We’ve mixed bottles for the next 5 feedings so when it’s time we just have to put them in the bottle warmer! I’m sure there will be more triplet life hacks that we find suitable and helpful.

But for now, we are just living in the moment! As problems and situations come about, we will find ways to tackle that. Just like any other life. This is our new normal =)

Let the fun begin!
